About this website

Careersinaerospace.com is a not-for-profit online careers guidance portal created in partnership by the Royal Aeronautical Society and ADS Group. The aim of the website is to showcase the very best that the industry has to offer in order to attract and retain the best talent now and in the future.

The website acts as a one-stop-shop providing:

  • Impartial information, advice and guidance (IAG) on aerospace, aviation, space and defence career pathways and entry routes
  • Resources for job seekers including CV and Skills advice, aptitude tests, professional development
  • News and events
  • Directory showcasing employers, training providers and relevant initiatives and activities

The unique selling point of the website is that it is truly independent and impartial and provides a complete view of aerospace and aviation career pathways.

Free sign up to the Careers in Aerospace Directory

One of the most popular aspects of the website is the availability of the industry directory. The aim is to provide a careers-focused listing of all companies working in the sector – from major aerospace manufacturers, including aircraft, space, defence, equipment and components, to SMEs in the supply chain as well as airlines, airport operators, MRO providers, business aviation operators air traffic control, ground service providers, certification and specialist agencies, and more besides – demonstrating the vast size and scope of the sector and resulting opportunities for people of all skills, backgounds and interests.

This is a fantastic opportunity to promote your business to thousands of motivated individuals interested in careers in aerospace and aviation; no other aero directories are focused purely on career pathways, nor bring together the whole sector under one ‘virtual roof’.

The new directory also offers a dedicated area for outreach and CSR activities – increasing awareness and potentially helping to better align programmes which promote aerospace, aviation and related STEM subjects.

The directory is also open to education and training providers as well as not-for-profit organisations providing outreach activities related to aerospace and aviation.

Our aim is to create a complete directory, showcasing the industry all-year round, so users can plan their career pathway and see for themselves the sheer scale and diversity of opportunities that the sector offers.

  • The Directory is FREE to use – whatever size organisation you are, there is no fee
  • Users can search via keywords, geographical area, specific career area and/or company capabilities
  • You can create and manage your own record, updating as business needs and career opportunities change
  • No limit on entries e.g. if you wish to include careers information and several outreach activities
