Help for graduates seeking employment in aerospace or aviation

If are a graduate of a degree in an aerospace or aviation related field, or recently completed other training such as a Commercial Pilot’s Licence, apprenticeship or professional course, you may now be looking for your first professional role in the industry. Whether you are looking for graduate schemes in aerospace engineering, aircraft maintenance and planning, airline or airport operations, or related roles such as air traffic services, business and general aviation, we are here to help! Check out our Careers Service for advice on making applications including CVs, covering letters and interview preparation. The Careers in Aerospace Directory aims to help you identify potential employers – both large and small and learn more about when and how they recruit.

Careers in Aerospace LIVE

Each year the Careers in Aerospace website comes to life through the Royal Aeronautical Society’s annual recruitment fair, Careers in Aerospace LIVE.

The event takes place at our headquarters building in central London each November with a range of exhibitors from across the aerospace and aviation sector promoting their career opportunities, along with presentations and careers workshops from employers and the Royal Aeronautical Society.

The event is FREE for visitors seeking career opportunities although due to the event’s popularity, all visitors need to pre-register online and select from a morning or afternoon session.

The next Careers in Aerospace LIVE will be on Friday 9 November 2018 and visitor registration will open in late Spring 2018.

Exhibitors looking to take part should contact the RAeS Careers team now at careers@aerosociety.com

More help and guidance

The Royal Aeronautical Society also offers free careers guidance service in addition to our careers events and Careers in Aerospace website. Our 1-2-1 service offers personalised advice, help with CVs, covering letters, online applications and job search. This service is free and by appointment only at our London offices, or available by telephone appointment for those unable to travel to London.

For further details please contact careers@aerosociety.com or visit our Careers Service pages for more help and resources.
