This year we were able to get back to our events calendar and The Royal International Air Tattoo did not disappoint. From the 14th to the 16th July we were in the Technozone talking all things STEM to the visitors of the airshow. RAF Fairford was buzzing with people there for more information but also for the love of the aircraft on display. There were several hundred aircraft flown and displayed anything from the red arrows to the Hawker Hurricane, there was something for everyone.

Our job at the airshow was to speak with visitors offering help and support with their careers. The theme for RIAT was centered around the theme of ‘ Training the Next Generation’. We were there to help anyone, just starting out or fancied a change we, are able to guide them and also speak with lots of children about how they could impact the industry. With high engagement over the weekend we gave away hundreds of foam gliders, made thousands of Paper air planes and spoke to many about their careers and aspirations. It was great to speak with so many members and future members
The weekend, despite being the hottest weekend of the year, was a success and we would like to thank every one involved. Those at the RAF Fairford were great in the run up and in helping us on the days we attended. We also had some great volunteers who were able to use their experience to help others and all the members that visited our stand and gave positive feedback. It has been a great experience and we look forward to future events.
