RAF Brize Norton Level 3 Craft Electrical/Avionic Apprentice (Electrical/Avionics Fitter) or Craft Mechanical Apprentice (Airframe/Propulsion Fitter)

Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group (MADG)  invites applicants to undertake a four-year Apprenticeship scheme based at RAF Brize Norton. The first two years of the Scheme will be split between full-time residential learning with the Resource Group Ltd at the Cotswold Airfield, with accommodation provided locally. The practical training element will be undertaken at RAF Brize Norton.

At the end of these two years, candidates will be qualified to Level 3 City and Guilds 2675 in Aircraft Maintenance. Candidates will then complete a further 2 years of training to become a skilled aircraft fitters in their chosen specialism in either Electrical/Avionic (Electrical/Avionics Fitter) or Mechanical (Airframe/Propulsion Fitter).

Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group (MADG) work alongside the RAF at Brize Norton as part of the Hercules Integrated Operational Support contract undertaking both scheduled, unscheduled and repairs to the C130J Hercules aircraft.

Applicants should have the following Qualifications:

  • 5 GCSEs at Scores 5—9 (A-C) which must include Maths, English and Science
