Kate McWilliams: the world’s youngest female commercial Captain

In 2016, Kate became the world’s youngest ever commercial female airline Captain. She is passionate about addressing the gender imbalance in the aviation industry. Kate began flying in the air cadets when she was 13 and joined an Aviation Academy, aged 19 to start flight training. She joined easyJet as a first officer at the age of 21 progressing to the rank of Captain at just 26 years old.
