12 Hour Flying Scholarships 2020

The Flying Scholarships provide 12 hours of Powered Flight training towards the award of a Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL). The scholarship supports aspiring pilots gain further experience. Scholars undertake their training as a residential course over the course of one to two weeks to ensure consistency in their learning and to allow training as a small group with other scholars so that a fun, open learning environment can develop.

This year, the Air League will be working with the Royal Air Force Sport Aircraft Flying Schools as well as other partner organisations in the UK to deliver the flying training. We will announce further details of the partner organisations and locations soon.

Key Dates
Applications for the scholarships will be open from 1st November 2019 to the 31st January 2019. Click here to apply
Interviews for the flying scholarships will be held in March/April 2020.
Flying scholarships to be completed between May and the end of October 2020.
