On Thursday 13th December, following on from the success of last year, the Royal Aeronautical Society Yeovil Branch will be holding a special Christmas Family Lecture with an aim at getting as many Young People attending as possible. In a light-hearted and informative talk, Claire and Helen from the Met Office will take audience members through the exciting and fascinating world of weather prediction. They will explain in simple detail the complex topics of how weather works, how weather forecasts are created, and how you can become a meteorologist at home using everyday items. Most importantly, they will answer the question; can we get Santa to town?!

This interactive talk is the perfect mix of technical and fun; designed to interest & inspire adults and children alike, so please bring the family along! Suitable for ages 7 and up.

Spaces are limited at the venue, so this will be a “ticket only” event. To request your FREE TICKET please email the Branch at: raesyeovil.mbx@agustawestland.com
