The Post-Pandemic Pilot Landscape:

The power of connectivity and how female pilots have come together during these challenging times.

8th March 17:00-18:00 GMT

International Women’s Day (IWD) is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women, to share experiences and to come together to raise awareness about gender equality. The past year has been a challenge for us all. The impact of the pandemic has been profound, especially within the aviation industry and for pilots, with a disproportionate impact upon women across industries.

This joint alta/ Royal Aeronautical Society Women in Aviation and Aerospace Committee event, organised by the Royal Aeronautical Society, is for all women, within and outside the aviation industry. It is an opportunity to reflect upon the challenges for female pilots and the positive ways in which they have connected and supported one another. Presented by Captain Marnie Munns, this is a story for all women and is especially poignant to share on the second anniversary of the launch of the alta Mentoring Scheme in the aviation and aerospace industry. We hope you will join us.
