The Royal Aeronautical Society is pleased to announce the return of our annual careers awareness event for 14-18 year-olds this Autumn, the Ballantyne 2018, our FREE event which aims to provide a fun and inspiring day introducing the fantastic variety of career pathways that aerospace and aviation offers and the application of STEM subjects.

Sponsored by Raytheon UK, the day includes inspiring talks from aerospace and aviation professionals along with networking sessions, challenges and a fantastic competition.

If you are thinking about your career options and would like advice from those already working in the sector, hear about the latest news and developments and talk to friendly experts from across the aerospace and aviation sector, this is a must event for you to attend!

What to expect?

The day includes:

  • Apprenticeship and university/graduate routes from Raytheon
  • Celebration of Royal Air Force 100th anniversary and future careers
  • Insight into space, flying and aviation operations
  • Special networking session
  • Challenge zone with fantastic prizes including Raytheon Quadcopter Design Challenge; Flight simulation competition; RAeS Critical Thinking challenges and more!
  • Dedicated careers information stands and free resources to take home

Travel Funding
