Lead Schools 3 and 4 announced on 23 July 2010.

Congratulations to Bridge Learning Campus, Bristol and Ercall Wood Technology College, Telford! These two schools will lead the next two RAeS Schools Build-a-Plane Challenge projects in their local areas beginning later this year, subject to terms and conditions.

The challenge aims to provide pupils and teachers with a fun, educationally relevant hands-on STEM project by building a real light aircraft, and demonstrate the wider educational impact of engineering and aviation. The project is generously supported by Boeing and the Light Aircraft Association.
