Royal Aeronautical Society

Aerospace is worth £24BN to the UK economy  and the aviation industries support 250,000 direct jobs. Each requires a continued pool of talented people - please help us demonstrate this through your involvement in the website!

Careersinaerospace.com is a not-for-profit careers Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) website for the aerospace and aviation industries including aerospace design and manufacture, MRO, aerospace defence, airlines, airports, regulation, air finance and specialist areas such as human factors and aviation medicine.

The website aims to showcase the aerospace industry to young people, job-seekers, teachers, parents and careers advisors and provide in-depth and inspirational careers information, guidance and supporting resources which are available all-year round.

One of our key aims is for the Company, FTO, College and University directories to become a one-stop shop for those seeking information about the UK aerospace and aviation footprint with all-year round information available, including, what types of recruitment patterns are on offer, and a searchable listing of all related companies in the sectors  - from primes, OEMs and MROs to air transport operators and supporting organisations, as well as training providers. In particular we are keen to showcase the numerous SMEs supplying the sector which help to make the UK the world’s second biggest aerospace industry.

Uploading your details to the Directories is FREE! See below for how to use.

We are also looking to supplement the Careers information pages and Directory entries with case studies from your organisations, large and small, of apprentices, graduates, experienced staff and in the case of training providers both teaching staff and successful alumni.

We also expect once again to attract highly motivated young people from across the UK as well as significant numbers of experienced professionals and in particular those leaving the armed forces.
